2025 Forecast

According to the Chinese calendar, 2025 will slither its way into the spotlight as the Year of the Snake. The snake is the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac, following the dragon and preceding the horse. Much like the way a snake sheds its skin, this year is predicted to bring opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The Year of the Snake is also tied to the wood element in 2025, which adds a layer of creativity, stability, and grounded energy to the serpent’s natural characteristics. This combination encourages a focus on long-term plans, innovative thinking, and making decisions with care and precision.

As with all zodiac years, the snake’s energy isn’t just limited to those born under this sign. The influence of the snake is expected to inspire everyone to embrace their inner wisdom, make calculated moves, and let go of what no longer serves. It’s a year for trusting instincts and stepping into new beginnings with confidence.

Culturally, the snake has a reputation that varies widely. In Chinese tradition, it’s admired for its beauty and mystique, while in Western symbolism, it often gets a bad rap. But in 2025, the Chinese calendar offers a chance to see the snake in a new light—as a creature of elegance, subtle power, and quiet transformation.

So, as the Year of the Snake approaches, the world can prepare for a year of shedding old habits and embracing your inner wisdom.

The Year of Wood Snake will begin on January 29th, 2025 (Chinese New Year) and end on February 16th, 2026.
